Yesterday I was back in the UK to do a photo shoot for an upcoming episode of of a BBC drama I'm filming this month. It turned out that we were working outside a church I had filmed in on one of my very first jobs nearly 10 years ago. Not only that but that was the job where someone (I wish I could remember who), recommended I start knitting as a way of passing the time while waiting to film.
In that movie I played (a very small role, one of my first) a teenage daughter and now here I am playing my first wife and mother and very much still knitting!
